Polygraph Examiner Training Course in the UK - Update
Candidates are now being selected for the Polygraph Examiner Training course for the academic year 2010. Each instruction period lasts for eight weeks(approximately 350 class hours) with fees of £5000. There is also an alternative option for a part-time schedule (evenings and weekends) that will last for twelve to fifteen weeks, at a cost of £7000. Flexible payment arrangements are available. The tuition covers all instruction, use of polygraph equipment and tools, all classroom handouts, miscellaneous supplies, full use of the Institute library facilities, and consultation with Faculty at any time. The Academy reserves the right to provide individual and group discounts on a case-by-case or contractual basis. Prospective candidates must satisfy the following admission requirements: Be at least 23 years of age; Good moral character as verified through a pre-enrollment polygraph examination or otherwise; Prior Education – One of the following:
1. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University, preferably in Behavioural Science.
2. Completion of a Diploma Studies following High School, consisting of at least a total of 200 hours, and three years of government or law enforcement investigative/intelligence/interviewing experience.
3. Must present satisfactory proof of having completed at least three semesters (about 45 semester hours or a total of 550 hours) at an accredited college or university and three years of government or law enforcement investigative/intelligence/interviewing experience.
4. Presenting satisfactory proof of five years of law enforcement or governmental investigative/intelligence/interviewing experience, which includes professional courses, and satisfactory proof of compliance with admission requirements to an accredited College or University.
The course is being run by Horowitz-Ginton Credibility Assessment Academy, an American Polygraph Association accredited school; the instructors Dr Avital Ginton and Ishayahu (Sigi) Horowitz, who have a combined experience of 70 years; course dates, application procedures and fees information are available upon request.
