Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder is linked to neurocognitive deficits in which the sufferer may experience difficulties with learning, judgement, planning and memory. In addition a number of associated problems have been identified, including: psychiatric disorders, school problems, propensity for criminal behaviour, substance abuse, and inappropriate sexual behaviours.
